Giving Tuesday is a social media empowered day of giving, following “Black Friday” and “Cyber Monday”. It is a day when people support the good work of nonprofits all over the country.
Here at L’Arche Chicago, we were overwhelmed by the generosity of many on Giving Tuesday. Together we raised almost $30,000! The gifts began in the morning and continued all day. Together, we watched as we climbed closer and closer to our goal. There was cheering and hooting and hollering. But mostly, there was gratitude.
Your generous support helps us to continue to root and grow. You help us continue to be a sign of hope, revealing the truth that all people have gifts to share. We believe that our world today is in desperate need of this message. Thank you!
