October is a busy month for L’Arche Chicago because we have several birthdays to celebrate throughout it! This past week we celebrated three birthdays – Elbert, Matt and Chris. Celebrations to come: Sarah and Molly!
Elbert is an original member of L’Arche Chicago and is caring, kind and faithful. He is talented on the piano and organ and enjoys many types of music. Watch out for his pool skills though – he’s very good!
Matt is our new director of community life. While we don’t have any pictures of his great smile yet, we are incredibly excited to welcome him into our community.
Chris lives in Friendship House and is our resident safety aficionado. He also enjoys old cars, burritos and cats!
